Fleet Associate Overview

Revel’s Fleet Associates assist in the day-to-day operations in the Maspeth warehouse and maintain Revel’s diverse fleet service vehicles in satisfactory condition for their operators. They must keep a clean driving record, be conscientious of our community members, and excel in communication to maintain a positive rapport with managers and fellow technicians. They may also be requested to maintain the workhouse and submit reports in addition to carrying out moped-related tasks in the field and in the warehouse.

We will be relying heavily on the Fleet Coordinators to keep our operation running smoothly. Without their diligence, attention to detail, and hard work preparing vans and batteries we will not be able to keep up with demand during peak season.

Wage: $19.00 per hr

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have a clean, valid driver’s license and experience driving commercial vehicles.
  • Three years of experience driving and operating commercial vehicles in NYC (Preferred)
  • Experience in electric rideshare or similar scooter companies (Preferred)
  • 2-5 years of Automotive repair experience (Preferred)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be committed to quality and safety in the warehouse and when operating company vehicles.
  • You are enthusiastic and punctual
  • You are able to lift up to 50 lbs and regularly stoop, bend, walk and stand for long periods of time.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability.
  • Proficient in Office Suite programs and App-Based software.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Be a culture carrier. Create a fun, inclusive, and safe workplace.
  • Proficient in spreadsheet and word processing software.
  • Do the right thing even if no one is watching!
  • Flexible availability, including early morning, overnight, and weekend

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Revel’s fleet of Tow-Vans, Service Vans, Task Vans and Other Service Vehicles.
  • Regularly inspect service vehicles for functionality, cleanliness, and damages.
  • Ensure vans are provided with the proper equipment and supplies for their operators
  • Clean, sanitize, and refuel vans between shifts
  • Verify all vehicles in operations have valid registration, insurance, and inspections for the current year
  • Assist with warehouse operations and battery handling
  • Operate the warehouse forklift to load and unload vans
  • Perform repairs to vehicles where applicable
  • Transport fleet vehicles for service and repair
  • Report and document van issues using Slack and Fleetio
  • Use spreadsheet and document software to keep vehicle records updated.
  • Communicate with staff and management at other Revel warehouse locations to coordinate the drop-off and pick-up of vehicles for repair and maintenance.
