The Job
We’re looking for a capable and motivated Facility Maintenance II who is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems, and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in safety policies and procedures.
- Perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Operate the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Participate in the inventory management of tools, parts, and equipment.
- Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting repairs as necessary.
- Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities, such as fabrication and welding.
- Perform tasks related to, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of facility and equipment.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders for maintenance and service.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, grounds and facilities.
- Detect faulty operations and defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas and facilities.
- Cleaning of air filters for the data center
- Foster open, respectful, and professional communication directly within the team as well as with co-workers/ teammates and leaders across the organization.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC preferred.
- Willingness and ability to follow guidance from other staff members as well as management required.
- Positive and professional attitude always, very high attention to detail required.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and in a team environment preferred.
- High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience required.
- Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including, lawn mowers, forklifts, scissor lifts, and small hand tools required.
- Basic understanding of email and office software required.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Occasional travel between data centers may be required as needed.
Work Environment
This job operates in a data center, office, and shop environment. This role routinely uses standard maintenance equipment such as ladders, scissor lifts, forklifts, power tools, voltmeters, etc. While performing these duties the employee will be exposed to hot and cold environments.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, and lift up to 40 pounds.
