We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team and take ownership of testing processes. Reporting to the VP of R&D, you will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python or Node.js.
• Implement and enhance test automation frameworks using tools such as Cypress, Playwright, TestCafe, and Selenium.
• Perform manual testing when necessary and transition manual tests to automation over time.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UX designers to ensure high-quality releases.
• Identify, document, and track bugs, ensuring timely resolution.
• Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for new features and existing functionality.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for test automation.
• Work in a startup environment, adapting to rapid changes and contributing to process improvements.
• Validate data accuracy to ensure correctness and reliability of application data.
  
  

Requirements:

• 5+ years of manual QA experience, with strong expertise in exploratory and functional testing.
• 3+ years of experience with Python or Node.js for automation development.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, TestCafe, and Selenium.
• Experience working in a startup environment, with the ability to adapt quickly and work in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating test automation within deployment workflows.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with validating data accuracy.

• Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with performance and load testing tools.
