The Role

As the Pricing and Inventory Manager, you will be a critical leader in our direct-to-consumer, AI-driven business model, with a direct and measurable impact on profitability and market positioning. This role demands a powerful combination of deep analytical skills, strategic foresight, and operational excellence to manage and optimize our most valuable asset: vehicle inventory. You will be expected to leverage a tech-first approach to drive significant value creation in the dynamic electric vehicle market, establishing the gold standard for the next era of auto retail.

What You Will Do

  • Merchandising Optimization: Lead the standardization, optimization, and continuous monitoring of vehicle merchandising across the Ever e-commerce platform and all relevant third-party listing websites to maximize consumer visibility and engagement.
  • Inventory Strategy & Analytics: Design, implement, and rigorously manage Ever's end-to-end inventory strategy. This includes:
    • Developing robust analytics and tracking mechanisms for key inventory performance parameters, such as turnover rate and gross profit per unit, to inform strategic decisions.
    • Analyzing the relative attractiveness of different YMMTs (Year, Make, Model, Trim) to ensure optimal inventory mix and concentration, allowing for overall value creation.
  • Cross-Functional Process Integration: Establish effective feedback loops and collaborate closely with Vehicle Operations and Sales organizations to ensure seamless execution across all inventory-related processes.
  • Listing Quality Assurance (QA): Perform quality control and management of all vehicle photography and listing details to ensure high quality, thoroughness, accuracy, and alignment with pricing initiatives.
  • Performance Accountability: Directly drive and own key financial metrics, including overall vehicle turn time and gross margin per unit (GMPU).

What You Bring

  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in pricing, inventory management, or a highly analytical function, with a strong preference for candidates from the automotive, e-commerce, or direct-to-consumer technology sectors.
  • Data Proficiency: Proven expertise in manipulating large data sets and utilizing advanced analytical tools to inform and execute complex pricing and inventory decisions.
  • Industry Acumen: A deep and current understanding of core automotive industry metrics (turn, GMPU) and a comprehensive grasp of the competitive landscape, particularly within the high-growth EV sector.
  • Growth Mindset: Demonstrated experience thriving in a rapidly scaling, high-growth environment, characterized by strong adaptability, resilience, and a proactive approach to complex problem-solving.
