What to Expect:

Joining EVident Battery as a Front-End Developer Intern means becoming part of a dynamic team dedicated to setting new industry standards for EV battery services. You’ll collaborate with experts in various fields, including engineering, machine learning, and EV battery reliability, gaining invaluable experience in a fast-paced, innovative startup environment. This role involves deploying state-of-the-art machine learning models to the cloud and developing an intuitive application for user interaction and data visualization, leveraging modern technologies like Terraform, HTMX, and Ansible to ensure a seamless, scalable, and interactive experience.

What You Will Do:

• Develop interactive and responsive web applications, ensuring an engaging user experience with real-time data visualization.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure the smooth operation of our web services.
• Implement automated, reproducible cloud infrastructure provisioning, ensuring a scalable and reliable foundation for the application.
• Contribute to the development of new features, based on feedback from stakeholders and users, to continuously improve our technology platform.

What You Will Bring:

• Enrollment or completion of a bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related degree program.
• Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one of the modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js), and familiarity with backend frameworks (Flask, Django, Express.js).
• Understanding of UX/UI design principles and a keen eye for aesthetics and details.
• Deploying machine learning models to the cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) technologies like Terraform (Optional).
• Familiarity with database management (SQL and NoSQL databases) and principles of data visualization.
• (Optional) Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• (Optional) Previous internship or project experience in front-end development is preferred.
