DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic embedded C++ software engineer to join our firmware (FW) team and help us take our camera infrastructure and advanced features to the next level!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Infrastructure Design: Design and develop infrastructure for our top-notch camera firmware and embedded SDK
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the hardware, server, and client teams on end-to-end solutions
• Firmware Feature Implementation: Implement and validate advanced features for our superior dash cam experience, from video managing to AI and sensor processing
• Camera and Environment Integration: Define and implement the bring-up of new cameras and environments
• Mentorship and Leadership: Mentor junior team members, conduct design and code reviews, and lead to get the code base to excellence

REQUIREMENTS

People skills & traits

• 5+ years of experience as a FW Engineer
• 5+ years of experience on modern C++ coding in Linux environment
• Deep understanding of OS interfaces, networking and network protocols [WiFi, BLE, LTE, TCP/UDP, etc.], video/audio streaming and recording, multithreaded environments and micro-services architecture
• Proficiency in OOP and experience with code design
• Strong background in low-level software
• Experience with any of the following is an advantage: Buildroot, Conan, Linux kernel, Jenkins
