The Role:

This is a high-ownership, high-impact position. You'll work directly with our founders, partner with engineering and design, and take full accountability from idea to shipped product.

We don't need someone to manage a backlog. We need someone who falls in love with merchant problems, cuts through complexity, and ships things that actually change how people work.

What you'll own:

  • Help refine the Merchant Solutions product and roadmap — shaping what we build next and why
  • Build and refine workflows across real-time delivery orchestration, customer experience, AI agents, and third-party integrations
  • Translate operational complexity into simple, reliable systems merchants can trust
  • Drive activation, engagement, and retention with measurable impact
  • Prototype fast — including AI-assisted and vibe-coded solutions — and validate before scaling
  • Own the full cycle: problem definition, prioritization, execution, and post-launch iteration

Who You Are:

You've shipped products that real businesses depend on. You understand the messiness of operational workflows and have a genuine instinct for making them feel effortless.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years building and shipping SaaS or consumer products
  • Experience with SMB merchants, operational tooling, or logistics workflows
  • A strong technical foundation — CS background or hands-on engineering experience preferred
  • Comfort working across APIs, integrations, and system edge cases
  • A strong taste in good design — you know the difference between a product that works and one that feels right
  • A high ownership mentality and bias toward action
  • Experience taking products from 0→1 or leading major product initiatives

Experience with fulfillment, marketplaces, or real-time systems is a strong plus.

Why Shipday:

We're not building another dashboard. We're building the infrastructure layer that powers local commerce — think Shopify, but for logistics. The businesses we serve don't have operations teams or enterprise software budgets. They have us.

If you want to build AI-powered systems that automate real work for real businesses, and you want to do it at a company where your work ships and matters — we'd love to meet you.
