Teradar is seeking a driven and organized RF Systems Engineer with a background in radar systems, RF, or electromagnetics to help bring the world’s first THz phased array imaging system to market. You will work cross‑functionally (IC design, antenna/array, signal processing, PCB, packaging, software) to support system integration, testing, and characterization of internally developed mmWave ICs, improve performance and measurement techniques, and scale system testing. What You Will Do- Perform system integration and bring up new radar system versions.- Develop/implement new measurement and calibration methods.- Develop processes/automation for characterizing high volumes across process/temperature corners.- Solve or contribute to customer‑facing system capability improvements.- Manage hardware responsibilities for phased array characterization and analog beamforming.- Debug system performance issues.- Characterize chipsets OTA using VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and frequency extenders. What You Will Bring- Advanced experience with phased array radars.- Start‑up/high‑growth experience.- Eagerness to learn RF test methods and RF system design/integration.- Experience characterizing antennas and beamforming networks.- System/device‑level understanding of RF components (amplifiers, mixers, phase shifters, etc.).- Experience with VNAs, spectrum analyzers, other high‑frequency lab equipment.- Strong attention to detail and project/time management.
