What You Will Do- Profile, analyze, and optimize PPA trade‑offs in software designs.- Develop and optimize embedded software for high‑performance multicore DSPs.- Use SIMD, VLIW, and fractional arithmetic for efficient signal processing and linear algebra.- Collaborate with hardware teams to leverage ISA and micro‑architecture details.- Integrate DMA to maximize data throughput.- Build/use/maintain pre‑silicon validation platforms (e.g., virtual prototypes) for early SW development/testing. What You Will Bring- Strong experience programming embedded processors or low‑level systems.- Solid understanding of computer architecture and micro‑architecture.- Hands‑on with SIMD and VLIW programming models.- Knowledge of DMA integration; familiarity with fractional arithmetic in DSP.- Experience with ISA documentation/development; exposure to virtual prototypes.- Proficiency in C/C++, Assembly, Intrinsics.- Ability to analyze performance bottlenecks and optimize for PPA. Bonus Points- Experience with CEVA DSPs (SensePro SP500/SP1000) and MRD accelerators.- Familiarity with CEVA instruction set, toolchains, and optimization techniques. Location: Boston MA (hybrid).
