Key Responsibilities

User-Centered Design: Lead user research initiatives, including conducting interviews and usability testing, to gain deep insights into customer needs and pain points. Translate these insights into actionable design decisions that elevate the user experience.Innovative Interface Design: Craft detailed wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes that deliver intuitive and engaging experiences across WEKA’s UI platforms.Brand Integrity and Consistency: Uphold and evolve WEKA’s brand identity by ensuring all design elements are cohesive and align with our brand guidelines, creating a seamless experience across all products.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate user-centered designs into the product development lifecycle, advocating for the best UX/UI practices.Advanced Data Visualization: Design sophisticated dashboards and data-intensive interfaces, optimizing complex information for clarity, usability, and aesthetic appeal.Iterative Usability Testing: Plan, conduct, and analyze usability tests on product designs. Utilize feedback and insights to iterate and refine designs, ensuring optimal user engagement and satisfaction.

About the Role

As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you will play a key role in crafting delightful ,engaging and high usability web interfaces for WEKA’s products and services. Collaborating closely with Product and Engineering, you will shape the design experience across our platforms - both on-prem and SaaS, ensuring that WEKA’s solutions remain powerful yet user-friendly.

What You’ll Be Working On

- User-Centered Design: Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to understand customer needs and pain points. Use insights to inform design decisions and improve user experience.

- Interface Design: Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that convey intuitive and engaging experiences across WEKA UI platforms.

- Brand Consistency: Ensure that design elements align with WEKA’s brand and create a cohesive experience throughout our products.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate user-centered designs into the product development process.

- Data Visualization: Develop dashboards and other data-heavy interfaces, optimizing complex information for clarity and usability.

- Usability Testing: Design, conduct, and analyze tests on product designs, iterating based on user feedback and usability insights.

Qualifications

- Experience: 5+ years in UX/UI design, preferably with a background in SaaS, cloud environments, or complex data applications.

- Domain experience: Background in UX/UI design for B2B technological products - (e.g. Enterprise storage, Networking, Cyber security)

- Tools: Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and experience with tools for user testing and analytics.

- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).

- Portfolio: Demonstrated experience creating user-centered designs for complex, data-driven applications.

- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams, taking the lead on design initiatives and articulating design decisions.
