What you'll be doing:

WEKA has already built a strong technical foundation with NVIDIA integrating deeply and broadly across different NVIDIA products and technologies and is a certified storage partner for many NVIDIA leading AI programs and solutions across NVIDIA Infrastructure & software solutions (DGX SuperPOD, HPS for NCP, Enterprise AI, AIDP etc.) This role is to evangelize our partnership with Nvidia with the GTM function from their Sr. Leadership through the individual field contributors. This role works in tight partnership with our alliances team to ensure the corporate partnership extends through the GTM team. This includes executive alignment, field education/enablement, and alignment on account pursuits.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director, Strategic Alliances to join our dynamic team managing all aspects of the global relationship with NVIDIA. You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing partnerships with key industry players to drive our business objectives and expand our market presence.

As a Sr Director Strategic Alliances, you’ll:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive alliance strategy for NVIDIA that aligns with our business goals and market opportunities.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships across NVIDIA, ensuring mutual value and alignment of objectives.
  • Enablement and Evangelism: Create and evangelize compelling content to showcase joint WEKA/NVIDIA value proposition internally, to NVIDIA and into the channel to foster a community of advocates both internally and externally.
  • Negotiation and Deal Closure: Lead negotiations to establish and close strategic partnerships, including structuring deals, defining terms, and securing commitments.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various internal departments, including product, sales, marketing, and legal, to ensure successful partnership execution.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and evaluate the performance of partnerships, providing regular updates to senior leadership and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Industry Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and potential partnership opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment on partnership goals and deliverables.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in strategic alliances, business development with responsibility for managing or working at NVIDIA
  • Strong network within the technology industry, preferably Nvidia and their resellers/distributions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and analytically, with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with partners and attend industry events.
