About The Role
WEKA is seeking an EMEA Communications & Employer Brand Manager to lead our media relations strategy and employer branding efforts across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Based in our Tel Aviv office and reporting to the Director of Corporate Communications, you'll be instrumental in elevating WEKA's presence across EMEA, building relationships with key media outlets, and positioning WEKA as an employer of choice for top AI infrastructure talent.
This role requires a strategic communicator who can craft compelling narratives about our technology innovations while showcasing our culture and people to attract world-class talent to our growing team.
Responsibilities
Employer Brand & People Communications
- Develop and implement employer branding strategies to position WEKA as a top destination for AI infrastructure talent in EMEA.
- Create compelling content that showcases WEKA's culture, employee stories, and career opportunities across multiple channels
- Partner with WEKA’s HR and talent acquisition teams to develop recruitment marketing campaign strategies and materials.
- Help to grow WEKA's employer brand presence on our Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn Life pages, and relevant job sites.
- Coordinate employee advocacy programs and internal communications that amplify our employer brand.
- Measure and report on employer brand metrics, including awareness, engagement, and recruitment impact.
Public Relations
- Develop and execute comprehensive media relations strategies for the EMEA region, helping to secure coverage in top-tier technology, business, and trade publications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and industry analysts across key EMEA markets, in particular Europe, Israel, the UAE, and the UK.
- Develop and pitch story ideas, coordinate interviews, and manage media inquiries for company executives and subject matter experts.
- Create press releases, media kits, and other communications materials tailored for EMEA audiences.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing regular reports and insights to leadership.
- Identify and secure speaking opportunities at major industry events and conferences in EMEA, and help develop topics, slides, and content.
- Ensure brand consistency and messaging alignment across all EMEA communications.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or employer branding, with a background in B2B technology, preferably working in the AI and/or data infrastructure sectors.
- Strong understanding of the EMEA media landscape, including key publications, journalists, and industry influencers.
- Proven track record securing meaningful media coverage in EMEA markets, with established media relationships in Europe, Israel, and the Middle East.
- Experience developing and executing employer branding strategies that help to attract new talent and drive employee engagement.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to craft narratives for technical and non-technical audiences
- Native or fluent proficiency in both English and Hebrew is required; proficiency in additional European languages is a strong advantage.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment with evolving priorities
- Strong time and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- This role will be based in Tel Aviv, Israel, with the opportunity to work in a hybrid capacity.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of data storage, data management, or accelerated computing technologies.
- Understanding of the AI industry landscape, competitive dynamics, and key trends.
- Background working in both B2B technology PR agencies and in-house communications roles at high-growth companies.
- Experience with social media management, video or content management systems, and PR/communications tools.
- Previous experience working across multiple EMEA markets and cultural contexts.
- Experience coordinating global communications strategies across multiple regions
