About the Role

WEKA is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to play a critical role within the Finance team by supporting financial planning, forecasting, and analysis activities that guide company-wide decision-making. In this high-impact role, you will partner closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality financial insights, maintain accurate reporting, and help drive operational and strategic performance.

This role offers high visibility across the organization, with opportunities to support core planning cycles—including the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and strategic analyses—and contribute to financial strategy and process improvements in a fast-growing, innovative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the annual budgeting process and quarterly/rolling forecasts for key business functions.
  • Provide variance analysis with clear explanations of business performance.
  • Partner with functional leaders to align plans with corporate financial goals.
  • Collaborate with Accounting on month-end close activities, including accruals, variance analysis, and reporting.
  • Review and validate department-level financials and performance.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g.,R&D, G&A) to understand key drivers and provide financial recommendations.
  • Translate financial findings into actionable insights for senior leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline planning processes and enhance reporting automation.
  • Improve model structure, data integrity, and forecasting methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in FP&A or related finance roles, experience in high-growth tech companies is a plus.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, PowerBI) a plus
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
