Internal Content & Communications Manager
Navan
Marketing & Communications
United Kingdom · Remote
We are customer-obsessed in Global Operations & Service (GO&S) at Navan, and we move fast. We are constantly looking for ways to optimize the Travel & Expense customer experience, which means our environment is beautifully dynamic, ever-evolving, and anything but traditional corporate.
To keep our global team informed, valued, and empowered, we need a creative engine. The Internal Content & Communications Manager sits within our GO&S Centre of Excellence. Please note: This is a highly creative Individual Contributor (IC) role. You will manage projects, channels, and fast-paced campaigns, rather than managing a team of direct reports. You will take high-level guidelines and strategies from leadership and rapidly transform them into engaging, bespoke content. Whether the topic is a new product, an industry shift, or a complex operational update, your goal is to cut through the noise and connect our diverse audience to the message using innovative formats, storytelling, and tech-forward channels.
What You'll Do
- Create at the Speed of Tech: Partner with GO&S leadership to take high-level briefs and ghostwrite key messages, executing quickly and flawlessly with minimal oversight.
- Drive the Narrative: Develop and execute communication plans for change management initiatives, ensuring our colleagues easily understand and adapt to evolving processes and tools.
- Leverage Modern Tools & AI: Continuously explore, pilot, and master emerging technologies, including AI and video editing platforms, to create cutting-edge, impactful campaigns.
- Design Bespoke Content: Move beyond standard emails to create engaging video content, dynamic intranet pages, snappy newsletters, and hype-worthy Slack updates.
- Own the Channels: Proactively govern our key GO&S communication channels, keeping them relevant, highly organized, and engaging for a modern workforce.
- Collaborate & Connect: Build deep relationships across teams to truly understand incoming communication requests and translate them into stories that resonate globally.
- Measure & Pivot: Gather qualitative and quantitative data to see what content is landing, using those insights to constantly adapt and improve your approach.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in internal communications, content creation, or a similar creative role, plus 2+ years of experience in customer service.
- Startup DNA: Experience working in the travel, tech, or SaaS industries. You are used to flexibility, thrive in a little bit of chaos, and prefer agility over heavy corporate structure.
- Creator: A tech-forward, digitally fluent communicator who is proficient in video creation/editing and passionate about experimenting with AI to build better employee experiences.
- Storyteller: Someone who can distill complex, dry information into a compelling narrative and engaging content for a highly diverse audience.
- Agile Executioner: You have a high level of ownership. You don't need a heavy blueprint to get started; give you the guardrails and a deadline, and you will run with it.
- Global Collaborator: An inclusive, expert influencer who knows how to connect with a hybrid (remote and in-person), globally distributed workforce.
What We Offer
- Creative Freedom: The autonomy to experiment with new formats, AI tools, and storytelling methods without being bogged down by endless red tape.
- A Fast-Paced, Hybrid Culture: An inclusive, dynamic environment where agility is rewarded and no two days are exactly the same.
- Continuous Growth: The opportunity to be a crucial voice within a rapidly growing tech company, learning and evolving alongside a team of industry innovators.
- Impact: A front-row seat to shaping the internal culture and operational success of a global, customer-obsessed organization.
