Job Description:
The Role
We are currently seeking an adaptable, successful, and Experienced Sales Professional as we increase our market share overseas. In this role, you will be responsible for the success of our expansion into overseeing all aspects of the business. In order to succeed in this position, you need to be highly driven, have a passion for learning about and engaging with new cultures, and a desire to build a business from the ground up.
Responsibilities
Define the commercial and business model needs to ensure maximum success of design wins and licensing of SiFive IP products in Japan.
Define the technical needs for successful IP products in Japan and communicate back to Headquarters what is necessary to succeed in the market within the regional customer base.
Generate strategic sales plans to ensure success at Japan based customers, working closely with SiFive Product, Sales, Executive and Business Development teams.
Manage and develop key customer relationships with Japan based customers, particularly top data center, consumer, AI, automotive, and industrial customers.
Conduct extensive research regarding the market
Work with SiFive Corporate Marketing to research and understand the needs of branding, trade show presence, general local marketing activities and other such items – locally in Japan - to ensure long term success of SiFive in Japan
Network effectively with local clients and develop strong professional relationships
Adapt the business model to be culturally relevant without losing its identity
Contribute to the overall global success of our company
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, MBA or other relevant fields, strongly preferred.
15 years’ experience working in the Semiconductor or Semiconductor IP field strongly preferred.
3+ years working in the area of microprocessor, GPU or DSP technologies strongly preferred.
10+ years in professional Sales in the technology sector strongly preferred.
Team player that can work with multiple cultures, regions, and teams in an international setting in a high growth technology play.
Exceptionally well organized and driven by success
Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations
Outstanding negotiating skills
Analytical thinker with superior problem-solving skills
Solid history of data-driven strategic development
