Job Description:

About the Role

We are seeking an innovative Design Automation Engineer to drive the development and integration of advanced design methodologies and data analytics for our high-performance chip designs. In this role, you will build data-driven tracking platforms, manage flow releases, and leverage modern automation—including AI agents—to accelerate Physical Design (PD) execution and optimize Power, Performance, and Area (PPA) metrics.

Key Responsibilities

• PPA Analytics Platform: Build, maintain, and own a unified PPA repository, comprehensive dashboards, and advanced PPA scaling methodologies.

• Flow Integration & Release Management: Manage and integrate all recipe changes within our internal flows, taking full ownership of flow release cycles.

• Memory Compiler Optimization: Collaborate closely with the platform engineering teams to streamline, optimize, and support the memory compiler flow.

• Cross-Functional Integration: Partner with Platform Engineering and Platform Technologies teams to seamlessly integrate compiler-level and internal CAD solutions.

• PD Execution Support: Develop a deep, functional understanding of our internal systems to provide robust, day-to-day support for the Physical Design execution teams.

Required Qualifications

• Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with 4+ years of relevant industry experience.

• Coding & Scripting: Strong proficiency in programming and scripting languages, specifically Python and TCL, to drive flow automation and tool development.

• Data & Dashboards: Hands-on experience designing and managing databases and visualization platforms, with a strong focus on SQL and Grafana.

• AI-Driven Development: Demonstrated ability to leverage AI agents and modern AI tools to develop innovative CAD solutions and accelerate coding tasks.

• Design Flow Foundation: Solid foundational understanding of the digital ASIC design flow, specifically spanning from Synthesis through Static Timing Analysis (STA).

Preferred Qualifications

• Version Control & CI/CD: Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices for managing flow releases.

• Advanced Analytics: Experience building complex data pipelines or handling large-scale engineering data for PPA optimization.
